Ed Smith
has written three books, most recently What Sport Tells Us About Life which is published in paperback by Viking, Penguin in January 2009.
Ed is now a leader writer at the Times. Before that, he wrote MindGames, his weekly column in the Daily Telegraph.
As a professional cricketer, Ed played for Kent, captained Middlesex and represented England.
Ed appears regularly on the BBC, and gives speeches about strategy, performing and leadership.
